Wacky Tacky

Today is wacky tacky day at school. Chatham has been moved up to the 2 year-old class and they are learning about the circus.

So today Chatham sported one green sock, one orange sock, black shiny shoes, bluish grey athletic pants, a yellow long sleeved and a navy/white striped t-shirt!

We slicked his hair over to one side and cuffed his pants around his knees to show off the socks. He also was instructed to bring a circus animal to school today- Chatham was SO excited when I got Peanut (his stuffed Elephant) out of the car to attend school today.

Sick Day

*Poor picture quality- all from my phone

Obviously I haven't gotten around to putting up the rest of the Museum pictures. I have been home nursing my sick baby boy. With Popsicles for breakfast, and lunchtime while watching Elmo he is feeling much better now.

He even went through my closet and tried on some accessories hoping to go back to school Friday. I will take him to school, but the beach hat will be staying home.

This is a little too closer for my liking- but Chatham's new thing is to hand me my cell phone and say "cheese mommy" so I have LOTS of up close and personal pictures of him now.

Other noteworthy Chatham-isms:
*When he gets mad or frustrated he will scrunch up his nose and pucker his lips. (I am trying to get a picture of it)
*Everything is MINE and NO- we're working on "May I" and "Please"
*He says "tank ew, mommy/daddy" all the time- if you hug him or hand him something.
*He LOVES to color and is getting better about distinguishing different colors- but mostly everything is still red.

Trying out some editting

Can you tell a difference other than the fact that I cropped it???

Discovery Kids Museum

Taking the recommendation from a friend we ventured over to Huntersville to see the Discovery Kids Museum.

Chatham loved all of the farm equipment and even got to sit on a real tractor.

There is so much to see and do there, we could have stayed all day.

After some time on the fire engine and trying his hand at being a Veterinarian, we meet up with the Cadwallader's and Wade's to explore the rest of the museum... I took nearly 90 pictures. I am going to work on uploading the rest of them and will have another post up tomorrow. But I wanted to share these few pictures now.

Working Girl

So all this snow we've been having, caused us to miss three days of school this week- which means the kids (and us, staff) have to come in for a half day on a SATURDAY!

So, even though Mommy's work is open on a Saturday that doesn't make daycare open on a Saturday...so while I am at work...the boys are out "playing". First they went to Chic-fil-a for breakfast and saw the cow!!! Then it was off to Gander Mountain to shop.
He's going to be SUCH a little man. Devin is eating it up getting to have GUY TIME with Chatham!
