There was drinking...

LOTS of drinking!!

This weekend the Wades, Cadwalladers and Donley's did something rarely done but parents- they ditched their kids and went out on the town.

First was dinner and Cheerwine shots at Vinnie's on the lake. Followed by some dueling piano action at Joker's of Queens Landing.

More (better quality) pictures to come- I first most decide which ones are suitable for the public!

I promised to post my own soon! With my birthday being celebrated for nearly TWO WEEKS now- that leaves very little time to update the blog!

But don't worry we've being doing a lot more than just hanging around.

We've been swimming!

and exploring!

Carrie, Carrie quite contrary...

Well I have been asking for quite sometime for a garden.
You see at my house the hubs does all the yard work- because I can't even keep fake plants alive! While hubby also wants a garden, it's not a one person project.

So I was given a challenge:
I have these five plants: (from left to right) bell peppers, sweet basil, jalapenos, cherry tomatoes, and regular tomatoes...
My job is to water them every evening it doesn't rain! Easy enough right?? Well we shall see.
I must brag a little though and say I have only forgotten to water once (and Devin remembered for me!) so we're looking at some yummy veggies soon!!
Here is what the big tomato plant has produced so far!

"I do"

This normally makes me think of weddings- of love- of a man and a woman saying softly and sweetly "I do"

But not anymore.... think of it more as a quick "I DO"
This is what Chatham says to EVERYTHING....

Mama: "Chatham, Do you want some milk?"
C: "I DO!"

Mama:"Let's put on your shoes"
C: "I DO!"

Mama: "Good Night Chatham"
C:"I DO!"

I must say that I DO is MUCH better than no. So I am happy to be leaving the no phase and moving on to greener pastures!
