In the meantime...
Of course, as you all sit on the edge of your seats, I can't for the life of me get the walking video to post!!! GRRRR- but I will work on it tonight (when Devin can do it for me) and get it up pronto!
In the meantime, here is your daily dose of Chatham to tide you over:
But, as promised here is a picture of the now infamous BOO BOO....
Although, the initial excited has since worn off as we had four more boo boos within the 48 hours following this one.
Boys will be boys!!!
Lost AND Found
As many of you know our camera died on Christmas Eve...and with that I misplaced the memory card to it and thought a lot of our Christmas Party pictures were gone forever....
WELL......
Chatham found the card last night and therefore I am having a Christmas post in February... I couldn't wait until July
Chatham and Thomas played with T's new toys while we set up for my sister's open house.
Emerson got to come and play since we were in Raleigh!!

Left. Right. Left. Right, Left.
So I know what you're all going to say.... PUT UP PICTURES!!! TAKE A VIDEO!!!!
well I have- I just haven't uploaded them from the camera to the computer yet! That is the first thing on my 'to-do once Chatham is asleep' list for this evening.
But on to the BIG NEWS:
Chatham has started WALKING!!!
He took 4-6 steps about four times last night...and then again this morning at daycare he walked over to me three or four times after standing unassisted for several seconds!!1
WOO-HOO GO CHATHAM!!!!

Accident Report
We have had our first accident...AND it required a band-aid (a transformer band aid)
This morning while I was getting ready for work (and NOT packing Chatham's lunch...we'll come back to that fact) Chatham was playing with some empty ice cube trays in the kitchen and then I heard a crash... My heart stopped at the sound of broken glass....
I turned around to find that my darling son had picked up a jar of baby food and smashed it on the tile- he was covered in turkey with mixed vegetables and there was a red streak on the knee of his pants. I picked him up and just like an adult he immediately put his bloody finger in his mouth. Devin came and took him to the bathroom to wipe it off and bandage it (yes, I took pictures; but it was 6:45 and I didn't upload them yet) we changed his pants and were good to go. For the next few minutes Chatham was walking around shaking his hand trying to get the band aid off- but then I handed him a plastic spoon and the boo boo was forgotten.
I must say the entire situation went much better than I envisioned his first boo-boo. I expected tears (from both of us) and lots of blood, possible bruising, and doctors getting involved. Boys are SO tough!!!!
So back to the packing lunch deal... For the past four months I have been packing Chatham's lunch for school- sippy cups, a bottle for nap time, breakfast, lunch and snack- NOT FUN AT 6:30 in the morning!!!
But today was day one of only packing two sippy cups and a yogurt cup... my son is eating breakfast, lunch, and snack off the daycare menu!! Let's hope it goes well.

Lots of time with Cara.....
Boys and Bows....
I think Harris is WAY more into it than Chatham....
But Cara is SUCH a great sharer!!! And leave it to me to swipe her monogrammed bow! (gotta love those C babies)
This is Cara (Chatham's girlfriend) she turned one and we LOVED taking party in the festivities...
We had to show a little skin after getting a little TOO into the cupcakes!!! (Three cupcakes in two weeks.... WOW)
