More Water Fun

The Right Place At The Right Time

We went to Nevin Park in Charlotte this past weekend with the Cadwallader's.

It's Race car themed (surprise, surprise)

We got there early enough that we had the entire park to ourselves. So we did a little swinging

But Chatham wasn't a fan.

We climbed on ropes, walls, and planks.

We slid down poles and climbed up ropes.

By the end of the day EVERYONE was worn out.

There is a Splash Park there too that we enjoyed- pictures of that will come soon!!

Water Day

Friday was 'water day' at school for Chatham

They set up water tables and let the tots have at it


Chatham, of course, watched the others for a few minutes before deciding what exactly HE wanted to play with.

He splashed- He played with animals- and OF COURSE he played with Cara (she's there in the blue polka dotted bathing suit)

but after alllll that...

The cups won!

Just like he does in the bath tub, he went to town dumping cup full after cup full of water onto the ground!!

Although much to his surprise it wasn't frowned upon on Water Day like it is in our bathroom.

Piano Lessons

Poppy has been teaching me to play the piano.....

No one thought I was paying attention, until they heard me play on my own!

Wordless Wednesday

I love Aunt Suzy!!!! BUT......

I think she needs a chat about Child Labor Laws!!!!

The Fourth on the Lake

It was BEAUTIFUL at Lake Hickory on Sunday!

We spent the Fourth on the lake with the Cadwallader's and Timmerman's!

Chatham had a blast (as did Devin and I).

We went out on the jet ski's

once we got back in Suzy took me out to do some wave hopping and donuts.

Devin was jealous of her donuts so he HAD to try too-

I was less than thrilled ending up in the water!

Chatham and I watched the boats go by- he waved to EVERY SINGLE ONE of them!

Suzy and I cleaned the kids up...

*the cup is for rinsing shampoo- we weren't drinking

Chatham tolerated his life jacket and even relaxed enough to watch some fireworks.

I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday as much as we did!!!!
